Berkshire Sofa Showroom

Just seconds out of Hungerford you will find our Berkshire Barn at Leverton Farm Buildings, part of the lovely brick-built stable block of the Chilton Estate. We have interesting neighbours too in the yard: a great picture framer, now a local institution, and a boutique gym where on occasion you might spot the odd TV survival star honing his abs.

Our barn is a really laid back place, and we just love talking about sofa shapes and gorgeous fabrics. All we want are lots of really happy customers, who find exactly the sort of sofa that they had in their minds. And then maybe they'll go and tell their friends about us!

Things to do around Hungerford

Wandering between antique and boutique shops is a nice way to while away the hours before a brief break in one of the many, cosy cafes or pubs and if shopping is your thing, why not pop over to the equally charming town of Marlborough, just 20 minutes away.

A trip to West Berkshire would not be complete without visiting Highclere Castle. Best known for being the set of Downton Abbey, the house and gardens are set within 1,000 acres of stunning, landscaped parkland. The house, as we see it now was built in the late 18th century, however, it is thought that the land has been inhabited for the past 1,300 years! It is well worth a visit to the Egyptian exhibition whilst you are here.

The Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys makes for a fun afternoon with children. The rainforest has over 700 species housed within it including monkeys, birds, a host of plants and even a crocodile!

Let's hope for some nice weather during your visit to Berkshire as there as some simply stunning walks to be had. Why not meander along The Ridgeway or the take the towpath out of Hungerford, follow the canal to surround yourself with beautiful scenery.

And last but not least, we think a trip to The Watermill Theatre is in order. This prestigious theatre is often just a pit stop for new productions before they hit the West-End making this a venue not to be missed if you are in the area.
