Feet
Solid wooden feet with brass castors in a dark coloured finish (as Kentwell [D]) comes as standard. This option also comes in an antique medium oak finish, as shown, or no casters. 2 x luxurious white duck feather interior scatters are supplied with each size of sofa inside zipped covers as standard. There is no scatter cushion on the chair.

We make these sofas in our factory in Nottingham. We're pretty proud of this.
|
This is not the case, sadly, with most of our competitors, who use mass production facilities in Eastern Europe or the Far East; the UK, and our factory in particular, is still a powerhouse in making really beautiful, great quality sofas, using traditional skills honed over hundreds of years.
This means we can do various things for you.
We get our sofas to you quickly - no hanging around waiting for a container from China, or a truck from Europe. In fact we deliver in about half the time of most of our competitors - 30 days approx.

Fancy a beautiful velvet devoré, a 50's linen print, or a Scottish wool plaid, and in the time it takes to plump your seat cushions we will have it in production in our factory. Got your own fabric that you want to put on one of our sofas... yes you're right, its no trouble whatsoever.
Made to measure
Speak to us, and that special size 150cm wide sofa to fit the sitting room bay window will also not be beyond our capabilities.

Delivery Time
Delivery in around 5 weeks*. If we are making something special for you, please add an extra two weeks to this lead time.
Even sofa experts need a few days off in the summer to get away from the English weather, so after 27th May please add an extra 10 days onto your lead time.
Delivery Time Slots
A week before your delivery you will receive a call from our warehouse to tell you the day we will be arriving. We then give you a second call, or if we have a mobile number, a text, the day before, to tell you the two hour time slot for your delivery. Should anything untoward occur and we are running late, the drivers assistant will of course ring you again to keep you informed.

Delivery Costs
Mainland England £49, Wales £69, Scotland £98. Offshore UK and Ireland, please give us a ring and we will recommend a delivery partner for you.
We store orders in our warehouse for a maximum of three weeks only. After three weeks we charge all customers £8 per item per week.
Returns Policy
If it's not the perfect sofa, or for that matter the perfect chair, sofabed, chaise or footstool for you, we take it (or them) back, for free, and give you a refund. Guaranteed.
This applies to all sofas and chairs in fabrics and colour ways, displayed on our website, only - ie, it does not apply to designer or wholesalers fabrics that you may have specifically chosen from one of our showrooms.
Unfortunately corner units that are made or assembled especially for you are non-returnable, non-refundable.

An excellent company, an excellent service.
I was really impressed by the high standard of service that I received from Sofas and Stuff. The staff were brilliant - they were extremely helpful, and even when I made a mistake with the sofa that I ordered I was able to change my mind and get a sofa that I am completely happy with. The delivery company was also excellent, giving a two-hour delivery time, so no waiting in for the whole day. I would recommend anyone wanting a new sofa to go to Sofas and Stuff first - they provide a much better service than any other high street store that I went to, a really extensive range of fabrics to choose from (including cheaper ones if you're on a tight budget), and a quick delivery time for a made-to-order piece of furniture.

The showroom staff were really helpful, no matter how many questions I asked and your delivery men exceptional - I was late by 25 minutes getting home to take the delivery!! but they were fine about it and on top of that the castors had to be removed to get through one of the doors - he subsequently of course fitted them back on. They really were very patient and I was only the 'first drop' of the day!!
As for the item purchased (an armchair) I am delighted with it - so now I want another one!!

I cannot praise Sofas & Stuff highly enough.
From my very first telephone contact and at every stage throughout my order, the customer service was second to none. I really didn't think companies like this existed anymore. When we visited the Parsons Green showroom, the help & advice were outstanding and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable & listened to us without being over bearing. All the staff went out of their way to help with fabric choices and advice & when I wished to use my own fabric, they were very helpful at ensuring I understood it met with current Fire Treatment Regulations etc.
The sofa itself is excellent and we are very happy with it. The overall cost was very reasonable and certainly less than a lot of other stores, whilst the quality is superior to many others we looked at.
It was delivered on time & even the delivery service for such a large item was excellent. It's not always easy to deliver in London these days but not only was I contacted in advance regarding my delivery date, but the delivery men phoned me when they were about 20 minutes away. They were very efficient and careful inside my home & all the packaging was taken away and I was given a chance to inspect the sofa before signing for it.
A special mention must be made of Martyn, Dan & Nadia at the Parsons Green branch - all of whom were very, very helpful. We would have no hesitation whatsoever of recommending Sofas & Stuff - they have it all - great sofas, great prices, great staff & great delivery service. We would buy another sofa there in a heartbeat. Outstanding!

Completely wonderful! We LOVE our new sofa, its perfect, as was the whole process. More than helpful staff helping us choose the perfect one for us, getting it to us in time for Christmas, and delivered by a charming driver and assistant who were in contact by phone 3 times to give time of delivery, and even carried the old one to the garage for us. We could not recommend them more highly.

After trawling stores and the internet for months on end, I was starting to lose faith in ever finding my "dream" sofas. Then, quite by chance, I stumbled upon your website. You know when you are onto something when you suddenly perk up and take notice. The website is clear, informative and very user friendly with some quirky touches. I had a browse and felt quite excited when I found the style I wanted in the right size , plus they had the exact colour fabric I was looking for. There is such a great selection to suit all tatses. Long story short, we took a ride out to our nearest barn which was in North Yorkshire. We were warmly welcomed by people who appeared genuinely interested in what we wanted. Very knowledgeable on the products, no pressure selling and also make lovely coffee ! Smooth, hassle-free ordering, delivered on time, friendly and polite delivery guys. Most importantly, the sofas are beautiful, I love them, couldn't be happier with the look or the quality. Top notch. Well done !

Excellent all round. We visited the Ripley Barn and the staff there could not have been more helpful. A welcoming cup of coffee after the long drive and then endless patience with our questions and request for extra swatches. I liked the fact that we came and looked, went home, and then decided to buy - all with no pressure. I also like the fact that we could choose exactly what we wanted, colour size and style. We have now taken delivery and they are wonderful! I would recommend Sofas and Stuff to anyone.

Very high quality product and great service.
Ordered a Kentwell sofa which we love.
It is very very comfortable and looks good too! I dropped by the showroom to have a look and got great service there. Was emailed information quickly and was given lots of fabric samples to help me choose the fabric colour in the right light.
Overall very pleased and when I have the budget will order more!

Comfy sofa - great service
I'm delighted with the sofa which we received towards the end of last year, the sofa is extremely comfortable and is exactly what pictured. The service was great and the showroom in Hungerford is a lovely place to go and make your decision over which sofa suits you and your family. The only slight downside would be for larger scatter cushions however is minor in the scheme of things....

i spent quite a few months unable to decide if i even wanted to change my sofas, but can to the conclusion that to have the ones i had recovered worked out as expensive as getting 2 new ones from Sofas and Stuff. so after many visits to your showrooms (and other firms showrooms) i decided on the 2 i now have! after a failed attempt at delivering before Christmas (only i time and day offered), you then tried to redeliver in the New Year...this also failed as the room was being painted! but they eventually touched base in the second week of January! the delivery men were good and even managed to deliver me the cleaning kit for leather sofas (i have 2 fabric covered ones!!)...hopefully this is being sorted as we speak!
the sofas are very smart, but need a lot of bouncing on them as the cushions are rather too "puffed up”. In time i am sure these will improve and look more lived in!
otherwise i am extremely happy with the goods...

It was refreshing to talk to someone well informed , willing to provide advice and answer those difficult questions on fabrics, style , colour etc. the choice of fabrics was limitless but made all the much easier by the understanding of Susan and her colleagues at the Fittleworth Showroom. I have just bought two gorgeous sofas and a beautiful armchair from Sofas and Stuff and I am completely THRILLED with them. I chose them from the Hungerford shop where Belinda was incredibly helpful. I took my curtain fabric with me and she was brilliant at coming up with suggestions both from the in-house fabric choices as well as endless ideas from the huge choice of designer fabrics - You can have anything. The result is fantastic and not only do they look wonderful but they are unbelievably comfortable too. The delivery guys were excellent and were very patient when I changed my mind a few times about the positioning of the sofas! The whole choosing/ordering/delivery process has been every bit as good as when I bought a few pieces about 18 months ago and I would never go anywhere else now.

Very pleased with our new sofas. Excellent service at the Woodchester Mill showroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Vast selection of styles and fabrics to choose from. We bought two small Kentwell sofas in a lovely Fennel green colour. Prices are very good for the style and quality of the sofas. Delivery was within the 5-6 weeks. However I've had to give 4 stars due to incompetent delivery company. We managed to have one sofa delivered as expected on the Monday but the other was on it's way up north somewhere! They planned to deliver our other sofa on the Thursday but again brought the wrong sofa! We eventually had it delivered the following day. But despite this mix up we're very happy with our new sofas and have had lots of great comments about them from friends and family.
