Here are Sofas and Stuff Fittleworth we are tucked away in our lovely barn conversion deep in the West Sussex country side. Overlooking the South Downs we are situated between Pulborough and Petworth in the beautiful village of Fittleworth. As a brand we are not a fan of glossy high street stores and we are far from it! We are proud to be a little off the beaten track, housed in buildings with a little character to give our customers a truly bespoke experience. We strive to be a welcoming destination for the whole family. Sofas and stuff Fittleworth is no different, with a bridal path passing the front door and public footpaths winding their way onto the common. We thoroughly enjoy a lunch time stroll taking in the views of the South Downs and farmland of West Sussex.
Fittleworth Community Shop
Like all businesses, we understand the importance of the community and supporting the efforts of our fellow villagers. Spring 2019 saw the grand opening of the Fittleworth Community Shop. This lovely café come farm shop and post office, is nestled in the heart of the village. It sit on the edge of the green, only a stones through from Sofas and Stuff Fittleworth. Run by community volunteers, the shop is thriving and a very welcome addition to the area. We have so much admiration for the hard work of the team. From a toasted sandwich to a cup of coffee and slice of homemade cake the Fittleworth Community Shop is our destination for a quick lunch on the go.
Arts and Crafts at Fittleworth Primary School
Our pride and joy is our choice of any fabric in the world. When it comes to bespoke sofas, beds and chairs meeting to requirements of our customers is our passion. Our extensive fabric library is home to the very best names in textiles from Colefax and Fowler to Designers Guild and Romo. Sofas and Stuff Fittleworth recently had a little spring clean and we gathered together our off cuts and excess fabric books. To up cycle our spare fabrics we donated them to the arts and crafts department at Fittleworth Primary School. The brilliant pupils have had endless fun creating their craft projects.
The Swan Fittleworth
With Fittleworth home to our flag ship showroom as well as the Sofas and Stuff head office team. We need no encouragement to celebrate a birthday or company achievement. For this, The Sawn Fittleworth is our go to! From after work drinks to a good old pub lunch in the beer garden Sofas and Stuff are regulars. The Swan’s £10 weekday burgers go down a real treat as I am sure you can imagine.
All 12 of our Sofas and Stuff showrooms have a story to tell. From converted farm buildings to country estates the Sofa sand Stuff team are proud to do our part for the local area. With many of us living locally along with our expert design knowledgeable. We are more than happy to share our recommendations for a spot of lunch or country walk for the doggies.
