It’s been another pin-tastic month here at Sofas & Stuff – we’d like to say our addiction to Pinterest is fading but we would most definitely be lying! We’re constantly inspired by what we see other people pinning and every time we find something new, the first thing we do is pin it up! If you feel like you’re falling behind with all this Pinterest malarkey, don’t worry because you can bring yourself right up to speed with our handy guide for getting started.
Our last two editions of Pinspiration showcased the best bedrooms and living spaces that we’ve found over on Pinterest – this month, it’s time to show off our favourite kitchen designs. It’s time to be inspired – we certainly are!
A Little Bit Of Blue – found by House Of Turquoise
We adore this cottage kitchen – just the right mix of modern fittings and the light blue walls just seem to bring a certain lightness to the room. We also adore those shelves and all the crockery perched on them!
White and Bright – found by Interior Design Musings
Metro tiles are a big trend for kitchens and bathrooms recently – we love the way they’ve used a grey grout here to make the shapes really stand out! Although most of the fittings and walls are white in this room, the addition of brightly coloured cookbooks and plants really make this space.
Shades Of Grey – found by Jenny Wolf Interiors
We all know how effective different shades of grey can be to give a room a bit of contrast – and no, we don’t mean the book! We think the white cabinets and walls (more metro tiles!) work really well with the brushed steel appliances and grey shelves. Beautifully simple.
A Splash Of Yellow – found by Kika Reichert
Another shot that shows just how effective some bright and bold splashes of colour can be in a room. We love the contrast between the natural materials and tones with the bright yellow stools. Makes the whole room look so lovely and cheery – even a Monday morning couldn’t bother you if you woke up to this!
Industrial Inspiration - found by Luxe and Lillies
We only just pinned this kitchen this morning and we’re so glad we found it before putting pen to paper – we’re sure you’ll agree! We are loving the monochrome colour scheme with some added industrial flavours.
That pretty much wraps up this edition of Pinspiration – as usual, we’ve had a bucket load of fun putting it together for you! We’d also love to see what’s been inspiring you lately, so why not follow us on Pinterest? Until next time – happy Pinning!
