We don't know about you but here at Sofas & Stuff HQ, we've
been loving the January Sales this year - there's so many great
bargains out there to be had, where you can get some of your
favourite products at a fraction of the usual price. But all that
shopping with all the crowds can make the whole ordeal a little
less than relaxing - if you've ever been down Oxford Street in
January, you'll know what we mean. So we thought we'd take some of
the legwork out of the January Sales by bringing you our top tips
for surviving the stress that sales shopping can sometimes
induce!
So, how are you going to survive that mad rush and get the best
bargains out there? Never fear - Sofas & Stuff are here to
help!

1) Don't want to face the crush of the high street -
you can find most of these bargains online, meaning you can shop
till you drop from the comfort of your own sofa
2) Plan your route and time, making sure you hit the
most popular shops first thing before everyone else has made it out
of bed
3) Do yourself a favour and wear some super comfy
shoes for your shopping expeditions - your feet will thank you at
the end of the day and you'll cover many more miles than you will
in sky high heels
4) Take regular coffee breaks for some much needed
caffeine (and possibly a cheeky pastry) but also take this chance
to stock up on water - shopping is meant to be fun, so take your
time and enjoy the experience!
5) Try to avoid buying everything with a shiny red
'Sale' tag on it - think about what you really wanted to get and
stick to it. Easier on your wallet and the added bonus of having to
lug fewer bags back to your car
Have you got any secret sales shopping tips? We'd love to hear
from you - just leave us a comment with your secrets for sales
shopping survival or you can also tweet us if that's
more your style.
Or you could just come to one of our showrooms where you can
simply relax, take your time and enjoy a cup of our fantastic
coffee - just a thought…
