It's that time again, when we bring you our favourite bits and
pieces of design inspiration that have caught our eye over the last
month. And we hope that this month's edition won't fail to
disappoint - it's as stuffed full of creative designs as our turkey
will be on Christmas Day.
Cradle Chair and Sway Sofa
There's something about being gently rocked to sleep but unless
you're a baby, this usually only happens on the train (potentially
ending with disastrous consequences such as missing your stop). But
this clever design by
Richard Clarkson means that even us grown ups can curl up and
forget their worries, whilst falling into a deep slumber. We like,
a lot.

Continuing on in our love of sleeptastic furniture, we also
stumbled across the multi functional Sway Sofa
which also tickled our design taste buds. There's something about
design that adapts to your needs, and this does just that.

Slice of Pizza Sleeping
Bag
Not technically a great (or elegant) piece of design but one we
just couldn't stop ourselves including just because it is so, well,
bonkers. Although we're sure the kids would absolutely love this
pizza sleeping bag. One question though, as raised by Amy Curtis (Deputy Editor
of Good Homes magazine) - who puts broccoli on a pizza?

Smart Pinterest Board
We've come to love Pinterest - it's such a great way to store up
great ideas you find from all over the web and share them with
likeminded folk. We've got to say though - this is our favourite pinboard
so far! Aptly titled 'Smart', it's a collection of really clever
ideas for reusing and adapting everyday household items. This is a
board that would make The Borrowers proud. Highly recommend you
jump over for a look.

Plummy Wine Cork Wreath
We could hardly be so close to Christmas without featuring at
least one festive item in this edition of Friday Finds and this
alternative wreath just ticks all the boxes for us. This big,
beautiful wreath is made from a selection of recycled wine corks -
being fans of both Christmas and wine, we just love it. Another gem
from the craft loving community, Etsy.

Vintage Suitcases
We stumbled across a post on creative uses for vintage suitcases
and thought we would share our favourites with you. It's great when
you can take something old and turn it into something truly
functional, and also very cool. Lots of the team are currently
scouring the web to try and find some of their own so they can
recreate this in their own home. Simple, yet classic - it's nice to
see when something old finds a new home. Make sure you jump over
and check out the original
post.

That's all for now but let us know what your favourite finds
have been for this month - send us a tweet, leave us a
comment or post it up on our Facebook
page. We're looking forward to seeing what you come up
with.
