What goes into the construction of your sofa?
A lot goes into the construction of your sofa and our expert upholsterers are highly skilled to produce and finish every piece to the highest standard. Our craftsman begin with the finest beech hardwood to construct our furniture frames. These are cut and shaped before being glued, screwed and dowelled for strength and durability. The webbing and springs add support and substance to the open frame to create the sofa’s foundation. Before foam wraps the arms and base to build the shape.
Once we have the finished foundation, the sofa is ready to be upholstered in your choice of fabric. The fabric is marked out with tailor’s chalk to produce every panel required to cover the precise shape of the bespoke frame. Each panel is stretched, smoothed and tacked in the contours of the sofa and hand sewn into place.

From start to finish our furniture is built and finished to the highest standard. We firmly stand by our craftsmanship and offer a lifetime construction guarantee on all of our British made pieces. Our sofas, beds and chairs are delivered in just 6-8 weeks with flexible delivery options.
We are also unbeaten on price. If you find a bespoke British piece of furniture, of an equivalent design and fabric, at a lower price, we will always match it. If you find something directly comparable, but cheaper within 6 months of buying from us, we will refund the difference.
